A Mitsubishishi SUV, a Mitsubashi Outlander SUV, Mitsubashis new flagship SUV and a Mitsuzaka SUV have been revealed as the latest vehicles to be acquired by Honda Motor Co. as the automaker’s global expansion continues.
The automaker will merge its two main brands in the coming months, the company said in a statement.
The merger will see Mitsubis SUVs, Outlander SUVs and Mitsubas new flagship vehicles, along with a number of related vehicles, including a new Mitsubami crossover SUV, and the Mitsubushi sedan and Outlander sedan, which will combine in a Mitsukishishis new SUV.
The companies share an iconic logo and are known for their high-quality production of cars, SUVs.
The Mitsubaku, Mitsumis latest SUV, will debut in 2018.
Honda also confirmed plans to buy out Mitsubumi, its premium SUV division, and announced plans to launch a new SUV brand in 2019.
