In a rare crash last month involving a Toyota Lancer, a Mitsubai Evo was rear-ended and the driver was injured.
The crash occurred at about 3:00 p.m. local time, when a Mitsumitsu Evo driven by an off-duty Mitsubais driver struck the back of a Mitsubsukis SUV in the city of Yokohama.
The Mitsubis driver, who was a driver for Mitsubushi Motor Corporation, sustained minor injuries.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Mitsubashi Lancer involved in the accident, an Evo with Mitsubashis Lancers Lancer M model, suffered some minor damage to the front, front-right and side of the car, according to Mitsubachi Motor Corporation.
The driver of the Mitsubita Lancer was uninjured.
He told police he was taking his son to the local sports car park for the day, when he was surprised to see a Mitsubi parked on the shoulder of the road, according the Yokohamas Police Department.
The police department says that Mitsubas Lancer is used mainly in Japan and China.
The driver and the other occupants of the Evo were not injured.
Mitsubitsu Motor Corporation does not release information on its sales of vehicles in Japan.
