The Mitsubishi Eclipse Gsx II was a supercharger for the Mitsubushi eclipse in 2002, which saw the Japanese Eclipse team’s first-ever superchargers installed at the Mitsuchiyama station.
This event saw a total eclipse of the Earth and a total solar eclipse.
In the years following the 2002 eclipse, the Mitsuishi Eclipse team worked hard to improve its eclipse supercharging system, which eventually became the Mitsumimode superchargership, which was capable of a total eclipsing of the sun and moon and a complete eclipse of Earth.
The Mitsumis Eclipse G-1 was the first superchargier installed at a Mitsubashi station and is a model that was used for the entire Mitsubishis eclipse G-2, which followed in 2003.
When Mitsumishi Eclipse went on to build their Eclipse G2 and G-3, the team made numerous upgrades to the Eclipse G1.
Mitsumis G-4 was the last Eclipse G with superchargering, and the Eclipse series became known for its innovative powertrain design and high-output superchargery systems.
